Since our last report the project of raising a sum of money for Scotch Creek Road has been brought to a successful issue, with some little trouble on the part of those entrusted with the carrying out of the object. Nevertheless, the residents of Lidney are to be complimented on the manner in which they have pulled together and contributed handsomely to bring it to a successful point. A public meeting was held on Saturday night last to receive the collectors' reports and accounts : the chair was taken by Mr. W. Dodkin.
