FASHIONABLE MARRIAGE
Ae event of some interest to my readers in the neighbourhood of Mudgee and its surroundings took place last Saturday at noon, when the Reverend Mr. Hough performed the nuptial ceremony in St. James's Church, Sydney, between Miss Ellen Sophia Bayly (eldest daughter of the late Nicholas Paget Bayly, of Havilah, Mudgee), and Mr. George New-batt (son of Edward Newbatt, Esq., of Vimpton, Leisctershire, and The Old Place, Sleaford, England.) The bridesmaids were Miss Flora Bayly (first cousin of the bride), Miss Florie Gurney (second cousin of the bride), and Miss Cobham ; and the groomsmen Mr. Richard Baynes, Mr. A. G. Wood, and Mr. Alfred Paget Bayly. The latter gentleman (brother) gave the bride into the keeping of her future husband.
