DEATHS UNDER ETHER.
HOSPITALS NOT RESPONSIBLE Sydney. April 23.
Two recent deaths of hospital patients while under anaesthetics were the subjects of inquests by the City Coroner to-day. Vera May Selmes (20) died at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital on April 19, after the administration of open ether, prior to an operation for toxaemia and Jack Reginald Hallihan succubed while under the same anaesthetic at the Woree Private Hospital Bexley on April 16. In both cases the Coroner returned a finding of accidental death, and freed the hospital authorities from all blame.

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
