Gall ? Marks
MURGON. October 8.
A wedding of considerable interest
to a large circle of friends throughout
the South Burnett was solemnised at
the Methodist Parsonage, Murgon, on
Saturday afternoon, September 26,
when Percy Robert Gall, eldest son
of Mrs. G. H. Dilger and the late Mr.
J. Gall, was married to Connie Maud,
younger daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C.
R. Marks. The Rev. T. H. Blackburn
officiated.
The bride was frocked in a dusty
blue floral georgette made on tight
fitting lines with fagotted vest and
flared collar, with long kilted sleeves
and skirt showing groups of pleats.
She wore a hat of white silk cello-
phane straw finished with a bow of
angel-skin ribbon and blue spray. She
carried a sheaf of coral pink gladioli
and sacred bamboo tied with blue
streamers.
Mrs. E. C. Cumming, sister of the
bride, who attended as matron of hon-
our, wore a duchess pink floral kabe
crepe made with fagotted yoke, with
pleats from, the yoke to the hem line,
and long full sleeves gathered into a
band at the wrist. She wore a hat of
white silk cellophane straw with angel
skin ribbon and pink spray, and car-
ried a sheaf of pink gladioli. Mr. E. H.
Chapman attended as best man.
Subsequently a reception was held
at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. E.
C. Cumming, where the bride's mother
received her guests, in a frock of
marina blue floral kabe crepe and
cream rice straw hat. The bride
groom's mother, Mrs. G. H. Dilger,
was attired in a russet brown figured
marocain frock with neora straw hat
to tone.

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
