the morning of the day on which
the samples of milk were taken,
defendant had placed the milk
from her own cows in No. 1 can,
and a little that was over in No.
2 can, into, which she also put
milk purchased from a regis-
tered dairy ; it was from the
No. 2 can that the sample was
taken which showed the de-
ficiency.
Fined £3 and 8/- costs.

OBITUARY.
MRS. G. M. STEIN.
The death occurred yesterday af-
ter a long and painful illness of Mrs.
Eleanor Milinda Stein, wife of Mr. G.
M. Stein, of "Hillview," Forbes
road. Deceased lady was an old
and highly respected resident, being
well known for her kindly disposi-
tion and devotion to her family. For
some time she had been in very in-
different health, and some months
ago underwent an operation at
Forbes. She was a great sufferer
in recent months, and death comes
as a happy release. Deceased, who
was 68 years of age, leaves a wid-
ower and three sons '97 Messrs. James,
George and Cecil. There are also
two brothers '97 Messrs. C. and H.
Laundess. The funeral will leave
the residence, Forbes Road at 2.30
this afternoon.
To the bereaved family and rela-
tives we extend our sympathy.

Hellena married George Miller Stein [2244] [LWFV-QRN] [MRIN: 660], son of William Stein [35595] [LWFV-QGS] and Jane Y [37206] [LWFV-QGV], on 1884 Sep 27 in Grenfell, Monteagle County, New South Wales.¹ (George Miller Stein [2244] [LWFV-QRN] was born before 1869 and died on 1953 Jun 10 in Grenfell District, New South Wales, Australia.)
