OBITUARY.
MRS. M. J. SHEPHERD.
The death occurred at the Goulburn
District Hospital on Sunday morning
last of Mrs. Martha Jane Shepherd,
of 76 Maude Street, at the age of 72
years.
Born at Binda, Mrs Shepherd had
lived in turn at Narrawa, Crookwell
and Goulburn, where she gained many
friends by her kindly disposition. She
had been in failing health for a con-
siderable time, and her death was not
altogether unexpected.
She is survived by one brother, Mr.
Harry Cramp (Moss Vale), and three
sisters, Mrs I. Webster (Crookwell),
Mrs. G. Seery (Narrawa) and Mrs.
Frank Elliot (Gundaroo). Her hus-
band and a son predeceased her re-
cently.
The funeral left Craig's Parlour at
11 o'clock yesterday morning for the
Church of England Cemetery at Nar-
rawa.
