AT ST. JOHN'S CHAPEL.
The wedding of Miss Kathleen McElroy, daughter of Mr. R. McElroy, of Waverley, and the late Mrs. McElroy, to Mr. H. Benning took place at St. John's Chapel, the University of Sydney, on Saturday night. The bride-groom was formerly a president of the col-lege, and he is the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. P. Benning, of Tamworth.
The bride chose a parchment lace frock with a cowl neckline and long full sleeves. Her veil of cut tulle was arranged with a halo of orange blossom, and she carried a bouquet of water lilies. She was attended as matron of honour by Mrs. S. Sperling, who wore a frock of Marina blue chillon with a swathed sash of fuchsia and cyclamen chiffon, and carried a bouquet of gladioli and fuchsias. She wore a coronet of delphiniums. The bridegroom was attended by Dr. H. C. Pinn as best man.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the college, where Mrs. R. McElroy, the bride's grandmother, received the guests Among those present were Professor and Mrs. Lovell, Dr. and Mrs. Martin, Mr. and Mrs. M. W. Goldstein, Misses E. and M. Ward, M. Sweeny, and D. and L. Cohen.
