Mrs. Balgowan was formerly a Miss McGuinness, of Bigga, and is sur- vived by one brother and one sister. There are two daughters, Mrs. T. Hudson, of Goulburn, and Maud, of "Dryburgh," and one son, Percy, of '"Dryburgh." ,Mrs. Balgowan was buried in the private cemetery on the estate, Rev. Mr. Bensley officiating.
