STARKEY.'97October 29, 1921, at a private hospital, Chatswood, Charles Herbert, only surviving son of the late Charles Timothy Starkey, of Chatswood, aged 56 years.

Our Sydney representative reports that the late Mr. Charles Herbert Star-key, chartered accountant, who died on October 29, 1021, left an estate-valued at £100,056. Under his will, dated 12thApril, 1919, he appointed as executors and trustees his daughter, Mabel Joyce Starkey, of Launceston (Tas.) and Jean Margaret Starkey, of Sydney. He bequeathed to them his whole estate in trust for themselves and his daugh-ter, Gertrude Alice May Starkey, known as Joan Starkey, in equal shares. De-ceased, in his will, asked that no mourning should be worn on his ac-count.

Probate has been granted ot the will of the late Mr. Charles Herbert Starkey, accountant, of Sydney, who died in October last. The es-tate was sworn at £10,057, and was bequeath-ed by testator to his daughters, Mabel, Jean, and Gertrude (known as "Joan"). The two first-named were appointed trustees. The will contains a direction that testator's crema-tion or burial should be conducted in as simple a manner as possible Testator ex- pressed the desire that no mourning for him should be worn.
