About 200 players were present at a bridge party given at Farmer's yesterday afternoon by the committee of the Sunbeam Kinder-garton, at Alexandria, to assist the Kinder-garten funds. Mrs. Snashall is the president of the committee, with Mrs. Phillip Yates as honorary secretary, and Miss Clamp as hon-orary treasurer. A prize was presented to the purchaser of the lucky box of sweets, and a guessing competition was conducted for a bridge bag. Among the players were Mesdames George Bennett, T. G. Murray, E. BRIDGE PARTY.
The Lady Mayoress (Mrs. Walder) lent her rooms at the Town Hall yesterday afternoon for a bridge party, held to augment the funds of the kitchen stall which Mrs. Phillip Yates will have at the fete at Quambi, the residence of Sir Kelso and Lady King, on November 26. The fete is being arranged in the interests of the Anti-tuberculosis Association's clinic at Surry Hills. The bridge party was organised by Mrs. Phillip Yates, assisted by Mrs. F. J. Davy, who sold sweets during the afternoon.

WEDDING.
YATES-BENNETT.
The wedding of Mise Doreen Bennett, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bennett, of Darling Point, to Mr. Philip Yates, youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Yates, of Burwood, was celebrated at St. Marks. Darling Point, last night. The ceremony was performed by Canon Lea, assisted by the Rev. A. .E Rig. The bride's gown was of opalescent sequins, and she wore a tulle veil caught with orange blossom, and an Ivory tulle train. Her bouquet was of lilies of the valley. The bridesmaids were the Misses, Eileen Clamp, Freda Fish, Wenda Yates, and Jean Yates. They wore flesh pink georgette with tulle hats to tone, and carried bouquets of deep pink roses and blue delphiniums. Mr. H. Riley was best man, and Mr. B. Clamp groomsman. The guests were received at the Dungowan, Martin-place, by the bride's mother, who wore silver lame with a hat to tone, trimmed with osprey. Her posy was of crimson roses. When leaving for her honeymoon the bride Wore Burgundy marocain relieved with beige, and a hat to tone with beige flowers, applique.
