THE INQUEST RESUMED.
GLASSON'S MOVEMENTS TRACED FROM SYDNEY. VERDICT OF WILFUL MURDER. AGAINST GLASSON AND ANOTHER. COMMITTED TO BATHURST FOR TRIAL. CARCOAR, Friday.
When the inquest was resumed this morning further evidence was called. Daniel Davison, laborer, of Blayney, deposed that he saw a man like Glasson walking from
Blayney to Carcoar on Saturday night at 7.30 o'clook ; the man had an overcoat on and was carrying a small bag, witness spoke to the man and got no reply, he was forty yards away when witness spoke, witness thought Glasson was the man. Mrs. Charlston, living at Blayney deposed that she saw Glasson on the Sydney railway platform ; he got into a carriage and came as far as Blayney ; witness also came to Blayney by the train. This concluded the evidence. The Coroner reviewed the evidence at length and addressed the jury, who retired at 12.45 to consider their verdict. After deliberating for three quarters of an hour, they returned with the following verdict : " That Frances Letita Cavanagh and John William Phillips, were willfully murdered by Edward Herbert Glasson, who entered the bank on Sunday morning, with some person unknown to the jury, with intent to rob the bank." Accused was then com- mitted to the Bathurst Circuit Court to be held on 11th October proximo.

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
