He took occasion to say he thought the committee had done their work about the punt very well indeed.-Alderman W. Keating seconded the amendment.-The amendment was carried ; and the report, as amended, was adopted.-Alder-man John Keating subsequently presented a report from the committee, recommending the acceptance by the Council of the boat the com-mittee had selected ; the acceptance of Edmund Cramp's tender for renting the punt at three pounds per month, in advance ; and the sale of the condemned punt boat.-The report was re- ceived, and the tender of Cramp for renting the punt accepted.
