OBITUARY
MR WILLIAM MARKS
Mr. William Marks, aged 73, a well
known resident of Crookwell, died in
hospital on Sunday night following a
brief illness.
The late Mr. Marks who was born
in the Crookwell district had spent
a lifetime there, and as held in
high respect.
He was unmarried and had follow-
ed the occupation of a miner for
many years. He is survived by five
brothers, Mr. J. McD. Marks (Crook-
well), James (Crookwell), Walter
(Bigga), Alexander and Richard (Ob-
ley, near Dubbo) and three sisters,
Mrs. Saunders (Sydney), Mrs. Meg-
son (Sydney), and Christina (Syd-
ney). The funeral took place at the
Church of England portion of the
Crookwell General Cemetery.
