• Obituary. Local Carrier
Sudden Death of Mr C Cramp
Bexhill lost a familiar personality by the death, which occurred suddenly in St Luke's Hospital, Guildford, on Saturday, of Mr Charles Cramp, of 48 Reginald-road, at the age of 63.
A very old resident of the town, Mr Cramp was a well-known local carrier between Bexhill, Little Common and Cooden, and before starting business on his own sme 20 years ago, he worked for Messrs Hobden, carriers and furniture removers.
His death came as an unusually severe shock to his family as he was expected shortly to be able to return home and he had refused to allow his illness to interfere with the arrangements for his son's wedding which took place the same day at Leytonstone.
The Rev. J. Wesley Kirkham officiated at the funeral at the Borough Cemetery on Thursday, the service being held in the Cemetery Chapel.
The immediate followers were: Mrs C Cramp (wodw), Mr and Mrs C Cramp (son and daughter in law), Mr and Mrs W Cramp (brother and sister in law), Mrs J Holland and Mrs A Wickenden (sisters), Mr and Mrs A Brabon (brother in law and sister in law), Mrs W Jarrett (neice), Master D Brabon (nephew).
Mrs Cramp and son wish to thank all kind friends for letters of sympathy and for the many beautiful floral tributes.
Mr A F Wellington, of endwell-road was the funeral director.

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
