Mr. Karl Reginald Cramp M.A. is a native of Surrey, England, and arrived In Sydney in 1887. He entered the Education Department of New South Wales in 1887, and has been In- spector of secondary schools since 1923. He is an authority on Australian historical matters and is a former president and secretary of the Royal Australian Historical Association. He is the author of numerous works dealing with English and Australian historical subjects.
