• Newspaper: The Sydney Morning Herald, 1912 Jun 15, Sydney, Cumberland County, New South Wales, Australia. St. John's Anglican Church, Tamworth, was the scene of a wedding on Wednesday evening, June 5, when Mr. Alwyn E. G. Leeson, second son of Mr. and Mrs. F. W. E. Leeson, of Dul- wich Hill, was married to Miss Amy P. Marks, of Tamworth, fourth daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elisha Marks, of Crookwell. The Rev. L. S. Quinlan, Th. L., officiated. The church was prettily decorated for the occasion. The bride, who was given away by Mr. H. Wall, wore a dress of cream voile with a silk stripe, trim- med with overall lace and bead insertion, and a wreath and veil, and carried a shower bou-quet, which, with an amethyst and pearl neck- let, was the gift of the bridegroom. Her bridesmaid was Miss Adelaide Walters. Mr. S. Marks was best man. After the ceremony the wedding party left by motor cars for the home of the bride, where the reception was held. Later the happy couple left by the Brisbane express for Queensland.

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
