BAKER-CRAMP.
A wedding was celebrated at St. Bartholo-
mew's Church of England, Crookwell, on Jan-
uary 23, when Miss Elsie Aileen Baker, second
daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alex. Baker, of Lag-
gan, was married to Mr. William John Cramp,
third son of Mr. and Mrs. E. Cramp, of Sap-
ling Creek, Laggan. The Rev. C. W. Clarke
officiated. The bride looked dainty in a hand-
some gown of ivory silk and lace trimmings
and spray of orange blossom, with wreath and
veil, the latter worn cap fashion. A gold ban-
gle and dressing case were the bridegroom's
gifts, while the bride's present to the bride-
groom was a pair of gold sleeve links. Miss
Beatrice Baker, sister of the bride, was in at-
tendance as bridesmaid, and wore a becoming
costume of white silk with hat to match. Her
present from the bridegroom was a gold circle
brooch. The bride was given away by her
father. Mr. Geo. Cramp, brother of the bride-
groom, acted as best man. The reception was
held at the residence of the bride's parents at
Laggan, where the wedding breakfast was
served. Mr. D. McDonald, in the unavoidable
absence of Rev. C. W. Clarke, presided, and
the usual toasts were honored. The honeymoon
will be spent at Sydney and the Blue Moun-
tains. Mr. and Mrs. Cramp will reside at Lag-
gan.

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
