Sleep Disturbers. \emdash A sequel to an early morn- ing disturbance in Mt. Hawthorn was heard when Ernest Francis Reid (19), labourer. Al- bert William Skane (23), clerk, William Thomas Mayger (21), clerk, and Thomas Mc- Mahon (22). labourer were charged with hav- ing created a disturbance, and all except McMahon were also charged with having given false names and addresses. Constable Grenville, who lives in Mt. Hawthorn, said that he was awakened by a tremendous noise at about 1.50 o'clock on Saturday morning. He went outside and saw some youths pushing a truck along North Beach-road. The noise ceased and the constable went back to bed. A few minutes later the shouting became almost deafening and could be heard over a quarter of a mile away. The constable asked the youths for their names and addresses and considering that those given were false, he brought them to the Central Pol- ice Station, where their correct names were obtained. Skane, who pleaded guilty, was fined a total of £7, and Mayger, who admitted hav- ing given a false name and address, was ord- ered to pay £2. Pleas of not guilty were en- tered on the other charges which will be heard on Monday.

Moseley P.M.) …Ernest Francis Reid (19), labourer; Thomas Emmit McMahon (22), labourer; and William Thonias Mayger (21), clerk, were charged with having created a disturbance in North Beach-road, Mount Haw- thorn, on November 28. Several witnesses stated that the accused had been with a number of young men who were pushing a motor truck along' the road trying to start it. They were shouting loudly, and alternately cursing the truck when it would not go, and cheering it when they started it again Each of the accused was fined £5, and Reid was fined a further 40/ for having given a false name and address to Constable Grenfell.

Ernest Francis Reid (20). grocer's assist- ant, of Osborne Park, was charged with having received the bicycle on or about September 16, knowing it to have been stolen.
