We have all been somewhat sick. But the girls more so and Krysta was very hard hit. Still they got to their dance classes in preparation for the next chestnut festival. This year, rather than having a stall, the girls were performing with the Heart School of dance.

The first I knew of it was when signs appears at he bus stop advising that the bus stop would be shut and the busses run down Menin road.

Selby Festival

Over the last few years we have always intended to go to the Selby Festival, but we have had other engagements. This was my first year at the festival.

The parking is a bit dire, but the festival itself is small and pleasant. Much better than some grimy street festival.

Slimefest 2013

On our last trip to The Blue Mountains, the girls decided that they wanted to go to slime fest. Kirsten booked two tickets on the way down using her phone. But we did not notice they there was a height limit of 140 cm and Krysta is way short of this.

Chestnut Festival

Last year we wandered down to the chestnut festival at Kalorama Reserve because it was close and we could walk there. Also it was to check it out and hopefully the kids would have a good time.

After much organising by Kirsten, this year we had a stall for the Sherbrooke . . . → Read More: Chestnut Festival
