paddington reserviour gardens

In my lunch break I stopped off at the Paddington Reserviour Gardens. I still think it is tbe best preserved ruin in Australia. I am still mightly impressed by the design and the construction. It is worthy of any such restoration in the world. Simple, elegant and effective.

Road Works

A hole appeared in the road, and not long after the council workers came to fix it. The a short while later there was some graffiti. I saw a man directing his young son to do some of the writing.

Marrickville to Prospect and Back

At the request of Bike Marrickville, I did my long ride out to prospect and return, taking lots of photos and ride notes so that they could run a ride. The ride was just short of 100km. Video Sundays – 2011 August 28

When I was in England in 2002, I purchased some CD’s to use while driving around. I chose two albums by the Medieval Babes on the basis of the cover and also to have some Medieval music as I love it. It was an excellent choice and I have enjoyed listening to it . . . → Read More: Video Sundays – 2011 August 28

Secret Squiggles Of Power

The electricity men came to do work on the underground power line feed. They came and they painted very many secret squiggles of power on the footpath and a few on the roads. There was also a high pollen count on this day.

A day of strange graffiti

When I rode to work today, all through out Moore Park was this strange nazi ASIO graffiti. Whoever had done it was quite prolific, I think it was written more than 10 times. I do not know if it was else where, but it was certainly along the path that I ride. By . . . → Read More: A day of strange graffiti

2011 August 24

A shot taken while riding to work.

A set of failures

Well, it started off on Sunday. I did a ride and the rear bolts holding the wheel came loose and needed tightening. Also the tyre on the front left was flat when I went down stairs, but I pumped it back up and it stayed up. Then today it was flat. The valve . . . → Read More: A set of failures
