Two years after the death of her first husband William Marks<\/a> in 1861, Ann Lamb<\/a> who had married her second husband Francis Campbell<\/a> in 1858, but not changed her surname again, opened the Horse and Jockey Inn at Markdale Forest. I am not sure how this relates to the farm Markdale.<\/p>\n

as an inn under the above sign, when she hopes, by<\/i><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

civility, attention to the wants of her gueats, cleanli-<\/i><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

ness, and keeping good liquors, to merit a share of<\/i><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

On the occasion of the opening, Mrs. Marks re-<\/i><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

spectfully invites her friends and acquaintances to<\/i><\/div>\n<\/div>\n

give her a call, and enjoy themselves in the evening<\/i><\/div>\n<\/div>\n
