It is unusual to see major traffic jams and crowds of people in a country town. The number of visitors I head from different sources ranged from 8,000 to 20,000 and the population of the town is somewhere between 10,000 and 15,000, so lets say, there were lots of people. But I have to say, I was impressed at how the town took the whole thing in its stride. I’ll say more about the organisation<\/a> of the festival itself, but there was definitely a festive spirit in the air.<\/p>\n

The first thing of note is that Elvis was every where, often wandering around in larger gracelands of elvii. He also comes in all ages, sizes and sexes.<\/p>\n

Even Pricilla was there. I have to say that the couple are good singers for ones so young.<\/p>\n

The shop fronts were decorated as there was a prize or something for the best shop front.<\/p>\n

In the evening we had dinner at Rice, a Thai place in Parks that was quite good.<\/p>\n
