These are the American equivalent of links like <a href=\"http:\/\/intersectingtangents.blogspot.com\/2007\/01\/e1.html\">E1<\/a> links I discussed previously. They are defined by the ITU-T which is a branch of the UN. They are nothing to do with the third tranche of sale of <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Telstra\">Telstra<\/a> shares (also known as T3).
