The RACV could not even jump start it. After replacing the battery everything was fine. Though the ordeal took nearly 2 hours.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">2014-05-20: The man said that 1) the alternator was a bit dodgy, but it checked out ok on the machine. And 2) that they starter motor was using low amps. Which is also a bad sign. \u00a0Well today the alternator was declared dead by the RACV.
