Well so far it is having a good effect, though it does not reduce the effect of heart attacks. The Mycardis is supposed to. At the moment the only side effect seems to be that I have a much clearer mind. The doctor said that it has good effects, though I have been unable to find any research stating what these effect might be. I have not looked hard. The main down side effects are supposed to be headaches and swelling of the lower legs, though this happens in single digit percentages of people. I have to yet suffered from these.

Day

systolic

diastolic

1

152

97

2

127

74

3

158

100

4

159

110

5

157

101

6

154

90

7

128

97

8

142

92

9

137

87

10

148

91

11

136

79

12

137

82

15

127

77

Also contains:

lactose

Another major use of lactose is in the pharmaceutical industry. Lactose is added to pills as a filler because of its physical properties (i.e., compressibility) and low price.

microcrystalline cellulose,

Microcrystalline cellulose is a term for refined wood pulp and is used as a texturizer, a anti-caking agent, a fat substitute, an emulsifier, an extender, and a bulking agent in. The most common form is used in vitamin pills or tablets.

maize starch and

Corn starch is used as a thickening agent in soups and liquid-based foods, such as sauces, gravies and custard. It is sometimes preferred over flour because it forms a translucent mixture, rather than an opaque one. As the starch is heated, the molecular chains unravel, allowing them to collide with other starch chains to form a mesh, thickening the liquid. It is usually included as an anti-caking agent in powdered sugar (10X or confectioner’s sugar). For this reason, recipes calling for powdered sugar often call for at least light cooking to remove the raw corn starch taste. Baby powder often uses cornstarch.

magnesium stearate.

Magnesium stearate is often used as a diluent[3] in the manufacture of medical tablets, capsules and powders.[4] In this regard, the substance is also useful, because it has lubricating properties, preventing ingredients from sticking to manufacturing equipment during the compression of chemical powders into solid tablets; magnesium stearate is the most commonly used lubricant for tablets.[5] Studies have shown that magnesium stearate may affect the release time of the active ingredients in tablets, etc., but not that it reduces the over-all bioavailability of those ingredients.[6][7] As a food additive or pharmaceutical excipient, its E number is E470b.

Most Common Side Effects:

10%: Swelling/Edema
7%: Dizziness
6%: Fatigue
<1%: Muscle Pain/Cramps, Drowsiness, Dryness, Constipation, Numbness/Tingling, Breathlessness, Hot Flashes, Urinary Frequency, Heartburn/Reflux, Restlessness, Erectile Problems, Chest Pain/Tightness, Weight Gain

At the moment the only ones I seem to be suffering from are Urinary Frequency and Restlessness.

Well I have changed my mix of drugs and now I am taking a new one.
