The Corps should deliver where the \t\t\trisks are such that private enterprise are too costly on a fully \t\t\trisk priced basis. But \t\t\tthey helps out after Hurricane Katrina and do lots of work in the \t\t\tstates. Personally I think \t\t\tthat is an excellent capability that creates a strategic resource \t\t\tpool that comes fully equipped. Brian \t\t\tYap<\/a><\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/span> It seems to me we have never required such a thing here in \t\t\tAustralia. we have perfectly good police forces and fire fighter \t\t\tand health care professionals that we do not need to rely on a \t\t\tmilitary style intervention to save the day. It seems to me that \t\t\tgetting the army to do things is having government control by \t\t\tstealth.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n
