We headed south from <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Cowra,_New_South_Wales\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Cowra<\/a>, my <a href=\"http:\/\/yewenyi.net\/FH\/556.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">grandfather&#8217;s<\/a> birth-place, along the <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Olympic_Highway\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Olympic Highway<\/a>. The packing went easily and quickly and was done much more sensibly than the day before. There was a threat of rain, but that did not eventuate. We stopped at <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Junee,_New_South_Wales\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Junee<\/a> for a rest break, had a bit of a tiff when I would not let the kids break the law and play in the\u00a0fountain\u00a0and Krysta managed to loose her new expensive school shoes. Again on the road, we stopped in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Albury,_New_South_Wales\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Albury<\/a>. We were trying to get to MacDonalds, but I could not turn right and rather than drive back a few blocks we stopped in a park. Then it was onto Kirsten&#8217;s Brother-in-Law&#8217;s place in <a href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Wangaratta\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Wangaratta<\/a> and an evening of fish and chips that was really quite good from the west end.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/yewenyi\/5634505666\/sizes\/l\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8563\" title=\"Junee\" src=\"http:\/\/yewenyi.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/2011-04-19-at-13-07-081.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"58\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><!--more--><\/p>\n\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The longest driving day of the trip.
