They are easily the most popular rides and they are now run twice a year. Fiona organises them and we go\u00a0around\u00a0Marrickville visiting various places that sell sweets.We started the day at Petersham, near the station . I was the sweep. I have not done the leader training course. As I was being an official, I did not really stop to try out the foods. I just dashed in to take some pics and spent most of the time outside looking after the bikes and people.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/yewenyi\/5711020998\/sizes\/l\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-9011\" title=\"Bike Marrickville Chocolate Ride\" src=\"http:\/\/yewenyi.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/2011-04-09-at-10-01-48.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><!--more-->Our first stop was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alfalfahouse.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alfalfa house<\/a> (113 Enmore Road Enmore NSW 2042). They are more of a general store, but aslo sell chocolates.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/yewenyi\/5711036708\/sizes\/l\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8997\" title=\"Bike Marrickville Chocolate Ride\" src=\"http:\/\/yewenyi.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/2011-04-09-at-10-32-14.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"750\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Our second stop was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.timproducts.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Tims Products<\/a> (407 Enmore Road, Marrickville, NSW, 2204). They sell Continental Greek sweets, biscuits and pastries.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/yewenyi\/5710493603\/sizes\/l\/\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-8978\" title=\"Bike Marrickville Chocolate Ride\" src=\"http:\/\/yewenyi.net\/wpblog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/04\/2011-04-09-at-10-50-28.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"333\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Our third stop, was <a href=\"http:\/\/www.casadel.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Casa De<\/a>l (Unit 8\/102-112 Edinburgh Road, Marrickville, NSW 2204) who sell &#8220;<em>deserts of indulgance<\/em>&#8220;. Well I had a gellato. At this point our second ride leader turned up and we split into two groups. This left me having to ride and finish my ice-cream\u00a0while doing so. Something that is a little tricky but doable on the trike. Still, I found my self in need of a little garbage bin on the trike. Actually the only chocolate shop on the ride. They had a special for the ride of get a free chocolate with each coffee or tea.
