On this occasion I got to Tarcutta before I needed to stop for the night at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.tarcuttamotel.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Half Way Motor Inn<\/a>. I had entertained sleeping in the car, but had not brought anything with me and the car was quite full of stuff. I was surprised to find the office still open at such a late hour. The friendly woman there was heading back to Orange the next day. It seems that she also has family there.
