The following Senior Cadets of 35B area
were prosecuted by Area-Officer J. J.
Wells for having committed a breach of
the Defence Act in that they absented
themselves from a compulsory parade held
on September 10 : Claude Percival John-
son, Allan Clyde Norley, William WIlber-
force Quayle, Victor Snelson, William
John Carter, William Young. John Royce
Davies and Sydney Donald M'Donald.
Pleas of guilty were entered, and each de-
fendant was ordered four days' detention,
to pay 4s costs, in default, one day's im-
prisonment, and also committed to the,
custody of the area officer. A similar
charge against Albert John Cramp was
withdrawn.
