Joseph Cramp, Atherton
This was a complaint under Section 26 of The Vagarant Act by John Barwick Blanch, of Malanda, ? against Joseph Edmonds, saddler, Atherton, claiming the return of a saddle which he alleged the defendant unlawfully detained. "
In this case the complaint alleged that he left the saddle at the defend-ant's Malanda agency to be counter lined and stuffed, but that defendant effected considerably more repairs than he was authorised to do, the cost of which complainant refused to pay.
Defendant's case was a denial of complainant's allegations, and that complainant had placed the saddle with him for general repairs.
A conference between the parties re-sulted in a settlement and the acting P.M., Mr. S. C. Mossom, made an order, by consent, for the return of the saddle, each party to pay his own costs.
Mr. A. Long, for the defendant, in-timated to the Court that he was not a party to the settlement and with-drew from the case Mr. L. H.. Winten appeared for I complainant

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
