November 6.
On October 22 a very pleasanat social
evening was given in the Oddfellows
Hall on the coming-of-age of Miss
Avis Cramp, at which also her
parents celebrated her engagement to -
Mr. E. Duggin of Renmark. The
hall had been tastefully decorated with.
Iceland poppies and foliage by a few
friends. Miss Cramp, who looked
charming in white and silyer, received,
over 70 guests. Speeches were made
by Messrs. Marcus, Hobcroft, Cramp,
E. Duggin. Miss Cramp thanked
everybody for their good wishes and
beautiful presents, and the key which
was set in a gold brooch. A musical
item was given by Miss Barr, and then
commenced a series of games which
were thoroughly enjoyed by young and
old. The music for dancing miss sup'97
plied by Mr. Sanders and was very
much appreciated. A delicious supper
was served and the evening proved a
very happy and enjoyable one.

Cramp, Renmark, was married to James William, eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. J. G. Duggin. of Renmark. Pastor W. H. Tur-ner officiated, and Mrs. E. M. Tranter played the organ. The bride, who entered the church with her father, wore a frock of ivory marocain, with full flared skirt, ankle length, and train attached. The bridal veil was of silk tulle, held in place by a coronet of orange blossom. The bridesmaid. Miss Merle Ray. was frocked in blue silk Georgette, flared to the ankle. and wore a picture hat of blue silk straw and tulle. The flower girls. Letty Cramp (sister of bride) and Iris Lowden, wore blue silk gean-ette. flared to the ankle. with picture hat. The best man was Mr. Milton Cramp (brother of bride). The bride's mother wore navy blue, with saxe blue trimmings, and hat to tone. The bridegroom's mother was gowned in navy satin, trimmed with green, with hat to match. Mr. Vie. Finlow sang "Thanks be to God" while the register was being signed. A reception was held at the home of the bride. Mr. and Mrs. Duggin left by car for the South East.

The Congregational Church was artis-
tically decorated, on the occasion of the
marriage of Miss Avis Alice Cramp and
Mr. James William Duggin on Wednes-
day. September 23. Pastor W. H. J.
Turner was officiating minister, with
Mrs. Tranter presiding at the organ.
The Bride, who was given away by her
father, was gowned in ivory morocain,
with full flared skirt angle length, and
train attached. The bridal veil of silk
tulle was held in place by a coronet of
orange blossoms. The bridesmaid, Miss
Merle Ray, was dressed in blue silk geor-
gette gracefully flared to the ankle, with
picture hat of blue silk straw and tulle.
The two little flower girls. Letty Cramp
(sister of the bride) and Iris Lowden
were frocked in blue silk georgette of
similar design as the bridesmaids, and
blue silk straw and tulle hats and black
patent shoes with diamentes at the sides.
The best man was Mr. Milton Cramp
The bride's mother was smartly frocked
in navy blue with saxe blue trimmings
with hat to tone. The bridegroom's
mother looked smart in a navy satin
trimmed with green and hat to match.

During the singing of the register Mrs.
Vic. Findlow sang "Thanks be to God."
The Bride is the eldest daughter of Mr.
and Mrs. W. J. Cramp of Renmark and
Mr. Duggin is the eldest son of Mr. and
Mrs. J. G. Duggin also of Renmark.
The reception took place at the homeFix this text
of the bride. The catering was in the
capable hands of Mr. W. Marcus. Pas-
tor W. H. Turner proposed the toasts to
the bride and bridegroom, to which Mr.
Duggin made an appropriate response.
Mr. A. Philpot toasted the bridesmaids
and Mr. Milton Cramp made reply. The
toast of "The Parents" was made by Mr.
W. Marcus and Mr. Cramp made a feeling
reply. The Bridegroom's present to the
bridesmaid was a signet ring and to the
flower girls blue brooches. The boquet
carried by the bride, bridesmaid, and
flower girls were made by Mrs. Frank
Simon.
The bride travelled in a navy blue
wool de chene frock with navy shoes and
hat trimmed with white, and navy face
cloth coat, and she carried a fawn bag
The happy couple left by car for Victor
Harbour.
