the Kapunda Hospital, on December 6th,
1903.
My thoughts they often wander
To a spot not far away
Where they laid my darling mother.
Just fifteen years ago to-day.
Friends may think I have forgotten her
When at times they see me. smile;
But they little know my aching heart
Those smiles hide all the while.
And when days are dark and friends are far,
My darling mother I do miss you,

There's none can fill my mother's place.
