… The chemistry business of John Benbow Key was taken over by Stillman and Co. After the for-mer's death, the late W. C. Martin, an employee, became proprietor of the aerated waters and cordial business, the factory having been previously removed from Sydney street to the present site in Gipps street, about 60 years ago. Mr Martin carried on the trade successfully for about 40years, to the time of his death, after which his widow continued the manu-factory for several years. …
