AWARD TO BOY FOR BRAVERY
Saved Companion
An 11-year-old boy, Wallace Stephenson, of Crookwell, was presented yesterday with the Royal Shipwreck Relief and Humane Society's Bronze Medal and Certificate of Merit.
The society's citation said he was responsible for saving the lives of Ronald Cramp, 16, and Fay Cramp 13, at Cotta Walla Dam, near Crookwell, on December 27, 1946.
In the same incident, a third member of the Cramp family. Maxwell Barry Cramp, 14, although he could not swim, went to his sister's assistance. He was drowned in deep water.
The society awarded him pos-humously the Silver Medal and Certificate of Merit.

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
