A CAL LAL WEDDING.
CEREMONY IN THE GARDEN.
Cal Lal, March 14.
A wedding of interest took place on 'Wed-
nesday last at "Big Bend", the contracting
parties being Mr. Edward S. Cramp (late
3rd Light Horse A.I.F.) and Miss Jane, se-
cond daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Pollard,
of "Big Bend". The Rev. C. E. Turnbull,
of Wentworth, was the officiating clergyman.
On account, of the large cumber of guests
present no room in the house, was capable
of accommodating all who desired to wit-
ness the ceremony, which was therefore per-
formed in a picturesque spot in the garden.
The bride, who was given away by her
father, wore a charming dress of white silk
with bead trimmings and a handsome veil
with orange blossoms. She was attended
by her sister, Miss Rose Pollard, who was
gowned in a lovely frock of pink voile trim-
med with beads. The bridegroom was
supported by Mr. Jack Pollard. After
viewing the many valuable and useful pre-
sents, a move was made to the Cal Lai Hall,
where over one hundred sat down to a
sumptuous spread. After supper the hall
was cleared, and the guests danced with
much zest until the small hours of the
morning. On Thursday the happy pair
left for Adelaide, where the honeymoon
is being spent

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
