DIED Balgowan October 12th, at her residence, Dryburgh, after a long and painful illness, Jannet beloved wife of William Balgowan; aged 70 years

OBITUARY We regret to hear of the death, reported in another column, of Mrs Balgowan, wife of Mr William Balgowan, of Dryburgh, Fish River, which occurred on the 12th October, after a painful illness of eight weeks. The deceased was a very old resident in the neighbourhood where she and her husband had brought up a worthy and intelligent family, and her death is sure to be deeply regretted.
