GOULBURN, Thursday.-Over 15,000 bales of merino wool were sold to-day to a market which was generally firm to dearer than Sydney closing rates.
The top price was 188d for (greasy wool, obtained by S. F. Picker, of Bigga. The same seller with broken realised 100½d, a State record for that class.
Other notable sales included: A. A. McIntosh, of Carrabungla, 141½d; J. S. Williams, of Crook-well, 138d; C. B. Mundy, of Yass, 140¼d; A. Howard, of Bigga, 138d.
