Deceased had only been married a few months, her husband being a son of Mr Wm Picker, of Bigga. about three weeks ago, Mrs Picker was taken ill, and was brought to Crookwell, where she stayed with Mr Parker until her death. Deceased during her illness was under the skillful treatment of Dr Fitz-Patrick, and when her case was deemed critical Dr Leahy was called in, but had no hope. Deceased had several complaints, the chief of which was abscess of the liver, which caused her death. Mrs Picker was the daughter of Mr Thomas Webster of Bigga, and twin sister to Mrs James Picker. The remains were removed to Bigga on Monday, the coffin being covered in floral designs presented by her many friends in the town, deceased being universally liked. Much sympathy for Mr Picker in his sad bereavement. • Other: Crookwell Death - Goulburn Herald, 1895 Jan 23, Goulburn, Argyle County, New South Wales. 4 On Tuesday last, at Mr R Parker's residence in Crookwell, Mrs James Picker, of Bigga passed away. There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not. On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
