MAN ATTEMPTS SUICIDE
RESCUED FROM RIVER
Sydney, Friday.
Herbert. Ernest Cramp (52), a laborer, attempted to commit suicide by jumping into the river at Nemingha, near Tamworth, but two road workers rescued him. His hands and feet were tied. He had been troubled owing to his inability to secure work.
