MANSLAUGHTER CHARGE DISMISSED.
Following an inquest yesterday into the death of Kathleen Davison 59, of Albert Street Redfern, Janes Samuel Clecney, 35, of Oxford Street Woollahra, who had been charged with manslaughter, was discharged
The City Coroner, Mr. Oram, who conducted the inquest found that Kathleen Davison had died from the effect, of a fractured skull suffered when she was struck by a motor truck driven by Cheney in Elizabeth Street on the night of February 17, but that she was struck accidentally.
Cheney was remanded on charges of negli-gent driving, wanton driving, and of having failed to stop after an accident. Bail in £20 was allowed.
