OBITUARY.
The Young "Witness" records the death of
Mrs. Beard, wife of ex-Alderman F. E. Beard,
who died at Young Monday morning, 24th,
at the age of 60 years. Deceased was a daugh-
ter of the late James Christie, of Willow Dale
estate, Wheeo, in the Crookwell district. Be-
sides the husband, she is survived by one son,
Harold (of the Education Department). Rela-
tives present at the funeral at Young on Xmas
Day included: Mr. Arthur Beard (nephew) and
Mr. D. G. Bunker (brother-in-law), of Crook-
well.
