The Lady Mayoress's rooms at the Town Hall were beautifully decorated with a variety of flowers for the musicale yesterday after-noon, arranged by Mrs. Wδlder in aid of the T.B. Sailors and Soldiers' Relief Fund. Mrs. Wδlder received her guests wearing a frock of navy blue figured crepe, a plain navy coat, and-a small straw hat to match.
During the afternoon Mr. H. W. Lloyd, M.L.A., made an appeal for the T.B. Sailors and Soldiers' Fund.

YATES-BENNETT.
The wedding of Mise Doreen Bennett, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Bennett, of Darling Point, to Mr. Philip Yates, youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Yates, of Burwood, was celebrated at St. Marks. Darling Point, last night. The ceremony was performed by Canon Lea, assisted by the Rev. A. .E Rig. The bride's gown was of opalescent sequins, and she wore a tulle veil caught with orange blossom, and an Ivory tulle train. Her bouquet was of lilies of the valley. The bridesmaids were the Misses, Eileen Clamp, Freda Fish, Wenda Yates, and Jean Yates. They wore flesh pink georgette with tulle hats to tone, and carried bouquets of deep pink roses and blue delphiniums. Mr. H. Riley was best man, and Mr. B. Clamp groomsman. The guests were received at the Dungowan, Martin-place, by the bride's mother, who wore silver lame with a hat to tone, trimmed with osprey. Her posy was of crimson roses. When leaving for her honeymoon the bride Wore Burgundy marocain relieved with beige, and a hat to tone with beige flowers, applique.
