BABY SHOW The Baby Show on the Wednesday afternoon drew a great deal of Jem-inine interest, and no one envied the judges, Dr. Eglitzky, of Windsor, and Sister Chancellor, of the 'S.M. Herald' staff, their task in discrim-inating between such, bonny entries as were seen on this occasion.…

MEDICAL EVIDENCE
Dr. B. C. Eglitzky, Windsor, , stat-ed that he had made the postmor-tem, examination of the body of the deceased, which was too swollen to recognise any obvious marks of ex-ternal violence. There was blood es-caping from the right ear, and the body had the appearance of having been dead several days.
There was a large depressed frac-ture of the right temple and upper jaw, and a bruise at the back of the head, the doctor continued. The fracture appeared to have been caused by a forceful blow with some blunt and heavy object.
EXTERNAL VIOLENCE
In his opinion, death had been due to cerebral haemorrhage from a de-pressed fracture of the skull, due to external violence, witness added.
To Sgt. Brownette, he said it would have required a very severe blow to cause the injury. If it had been caused by a blow from a wine bottle swung in a sugar bag, the bottle would have had to be full. The injury could have been, caused in that fashion.
To the Coroner, the doctor said the depression in the skull was about 4 inches across, and to Mr. Bourke he said the injury could have been caused by many other objects than a wine bottle. He did not think, however, that it could have been caused by falling against a heavy stone.

MEDICAL. OPINION Dr. B. Eglitzky, of St. Marys and formerly of Windsor, who made the post mortem examination at the District Hospital morgue, did not attend the inquiry, but his statement was read. It was to the effect that he considered death had been instantaneous as the result of a depressed fracture of the skull.

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
