Mr A. G. Bevege of Granville N.S.W. CARRIES 10--TON LOADS 1100 MILES PER WEEK

Mr. A. G. Bevege. General Carrier of 38 Illaong Street, Granville, N.S.W., is another truck operator who has found by experience that no better truck is built than REO. CARRYING 10 ton loads of cement, Mr. Bevege averages 1,100 miles per week between Kandos and Sydney in his Diesel REO. He says, " Road conditions for a distance of about 70 miles are very bad, and when I reach good road I have to climb Mount Victoria" (3,420 feet in 2 miles, with a maximum grade of 1 in 8, average 1 in 12½). " In 42 weeks I have never missed a load each working day, averaging between four and five days per week. I am averaging 16 m.p.g. of distillate." …
