OBITUARY.
MISS MARY CRAMP.
There passed away at her home (Exchange Hotel, Torrens Creek), about 5.30 p.m, on the 9th instant, Mary Theresa Cramp, daughter of Mrs. Dearden, of Torrens Creek, at the early age of 24 years, She was a universal favorite with all people she came in contact with, and was well known and respected. For over three years she acted as nurse in the Winton Hospital, and for some months in the Charters Towers Dis-trict Hospital. Her numerous friends will regret to bear of her early; de-mise. She was efficient at her work, and loved by all whom she gave her tender care. She was laid to rest in the Torrens Creek Cemetery on the 10th Instant. The funeral was the largest ever seen in Torrens Creek, people from both the town and outside stations were represent-ed. The wreaths were numerous and suitable to a girl who always sacrificed her own health, and strength in the service of others, and was ever ready and willing. Father McCoy (Hughenden) officiated at the graveside.
