OBITUARY
MRS. JAMES CRAMP
Quite a gloom was cast over
the town and district of Boor-
owa on Saturday last, when it
became known that Mrs. Cramp,
wife of Mr. James Cramp, of
Laggan, had died in the Crook-
well Hospital After an illness
extending over four months.
The deceased, who was quite a
young woman, was only -thirty-five
years of age, and her health had
been failing since the birth of a son
about four months ago. She had
been a patient in the Crookwell Hos-
pital for some time, and had under
gone several operations which proved
unsuccessful, and she passed to her
eternal reward after bearing ber-
long illness with Christian fortitude.
The deceased, whose maiden name,
was Miss Jane Corkery, was the
youngest daughter of, the late Mr.
and Mrs. Patrick Corkery, of Gun-
nary, and was very popular amongst
her many friends. Prior to her mar-
riage, about 16 months ago, she had
been a very keen exhibitor at coun-
try shows in the needlework section,
and had many prizes at the
Boorowa and Surrounding shows.
She was particularly clever in her
fancy work which was an indication
of her industrious nature, and her
passing at such a young age is to be
deeply regretted.
The deceased is survived by a sor-
owing husband and one child, also
seven brothers are three sisters.
The brothers are Messrs, William
(Boorowa), John (Rugby), Patrick
(Boorowa), James (Phil's Creek),
Walter (Cowra), Ernie (Boorowa),
and Bertie (Gunnary). The sisters
are Mrs. George Penu (Phil's
Creek), Mes. McGlynn (Tubbul),
Mrs. Jack Conroy (Boorowa).

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
