SOCIAL NOTES.
A pretty wedding was solemnised at Christ Church Cathedral on Thursday, 10th June, when Gertrude Alice, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hy, Zietsch, Mary-street, was joined in the holy bonds of matrimony to Mr. John Miller, Dobie-street. The bride wore a strip-ed marquisette with overdress of lace caught with bebe rodes and court train, lined with pale pink silk ninon; she wore the customary wreath and veil, and carried pretty shower bouquet of roses and asparagus fern. She was attended by two bridesmaids, Miss Edie Schwinghammer, cousin of the bride, and Miss Jessie Miller, sister of the bridegroom, both wearing white silk relieved with pale pink hats to match. Mr. Bob Miller acted as best man, and Mr. Victor Zietsch as grooms-man. The bridegroom's gift to the bride was a handsome silver bag, and to the bridesmaids gold bangles; the bride 's gift to the bride-groom was a gold ring. The wedding break-fast was partaken of at the residence of the bride's parents, where the usual toasts were honoured. The bride's mother wore black pailette trimmed with embossed, lace, black hat and white plumes. The mother of the bridegroom were black mauve and silk trim-mings and hat to match. The happy couple left by the afternoon's train en route to Tweed Heads, where the honeymoon will be spent, the bride travelling in grey voile with grey silk trimmings, white hat and pink roses. The presents were numerous and cost-ly, including cheques.

There are other people in this site, for various reasons, some not related at all. Some are married into my family, some I once thought were related and, turns out, they are not.

On the Aborigines: Unfortunately, I can only place global statements not he web pages. The aborigines I am aware of are in the Blackman Line and are from the children of James Blackman and Elizabeth Harley.
