Hull and a friend, CHARLES ANDREW GEORGE VARCOE, 55, of Beaumont Road, Mount Kuring-gai, were returning from a day's fishing about 5 p.m., when the accident occurred. CLIMBED MAST Opposite Britannia Rock about 200 yards from the shore, Hull climbed the mast to furl the jib and the boat overturned and sank. Percival James Clark and Leslie Lee, who were standing on the wharf of a boatshed 200 yards away, at once put out in a motor launch. They pulled Varcoe out of the water, semi-conscious, and re- vived him but could find no trace of Hull. Sergeant J. White, of Hornsby Police, is investigating.
