WEDDINGS.
At SS. Peter and Paul's Cathedral, Goulburn,
on Tuesday morning, 26th December, at a
quarter to 6 o'clock, Mr. Patrick J. Barry, of
Binalong, was united in the holy bonds of matri-
mony to Miss Veronica M. Balgowan, second
daughter of Mr. John Balgowan, of Western
Australia. The Rev. Father Reid, Adm.,
officiated. The bride, who was given away by
Mr. Frank Tully, was neatly and becomingly
attired in white organdie muslin, with inser-
tion trimmings; and white hat trimmed with
white lace and lilies of the valley, and looked
exceedingly pretty. Miss B. Broderick, Syd-
ney, was bridesmaid, and wore a simple white
shower of hail muslin frock, with white hat,
with wreath of red roses. The best man was
Mr. Ryan, of Binalong, brother-in-law of the
bridegroom. After the ceremony a reception
was held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. F.
Tully, Hill View Road, where toasts and con-
gratulations of friends were received. A large
collection of useful and valuable presents from
Western Australia, Queensland, Sydney, Bina-
long, and Goulburn was on view. Amongst the
presents was a handsome silver teapot from the
Hibernian Society, of which the bride is a
member. Mr. and Mrs. Barry left amidst
showers of confetti and good wishes by express
for Sydney, en route for the mountains. Their
future home will be Binalong.

Barry'97 Balgowan.
Mr. P. B. Barry, of Binalong, was on
Tuesday morning, 26 th December, mar-
ried in, SS. Peter and Paul's Ca-
thedral, Goulburn, by the Rev. Fa-
ther Reidy (Adm.), to Miss V. M.
Balgowan, second daughter of Mr. J. Bal-
gowan, of Western Australia. The bride,
who was given away by Mr. Frank Tully,
wore white muslin with hat to match. Miss
B. Broderick (Sydney) was bridesmaid, and
Mr. Ryan (Binalong) best man. A reception
was held after the ceremony at the residence
of Mr. and Mrs. F. Tully. Many presents,
including a handsome silver teapot from the
members of the Hibernian Society, were re-
ceived. The honeymoon is being spent at
the Mountains. Mr. and Mrs. Barry's fu-
ture home' will be at Binalong.
